Nirmal Collector Sets Deadline for Voter Progeny Mapping
The Collector of Nirmal district in Telangana has told election officials to finish a special task called voter progeny mapping quickly and accurately.
This task involves checking old voter records from 2002 and comparing them with current records.
The Collector had a video meeting with other important officials and told them to work fast and send daily updates.
Special workers called BLOs and ABLOs have to visit people's homes to do this task.
The Collector said it's very important to finish this task on time and there should be no delays.
Many other officials also joined the meeting to help with this task.
Nirmal District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav directed officials to complete the voter progeny mapping process efficiently and within the deadline.
The Collector emphasized the importance of accuracy and speed, instructing officials to intensify field-level work and submit regular progress reports.
A video conference was held with State Chief Electoral Officer Sudarshan Reddy and district collectors across Telangana to accelerate the mapping process.
Booth Level Officers (BLOs) were directed to personally visit the field to carry out the progeny mapping and submit daily updates to the Collectorate.
Assistant Booth Level Officers (ABLOs) were instructed to support BLOs to ensure smooth execution of the process, with timely completion being crucial.
