Pune Court Proceeds With Complaint Over Girl’s Clinic Death

Pune Court Proceeds With Complaint Over Girl’s Clinic Death

Nine-year-old Rhea Rohan Lobo went from Dubai to Pune for medical treatment.

She later died after receiving care at Ruby Hall Clinic facilities.

Her uncles filed a criminal complaint saying that the treatment may have been negligent.

They raised questions about scans, oxygen, ventilator support, nursing checks and equipment.

A medical committee reportedly found an initial indication of possible negligence involving one doctor.

A Pune judge decided that the complaint should move forward.

The court has summoned people connected with the hospital and treatment.

This decision does not mean anyone has been found guilty.

The next hearing is scheduled for October 19, 2026.
