Milky Mist to launch ₹1,553-crore IPO on August 11

A company called Milky Mist makes dairy products like paneer, cheese, curd, and ice cream in Tamil Nadu, India.

It wants to grow bigger, so it is selling shares to the public for the first time — this is called an IPO.

People can buy shares from August 11 to August 13, and each share will cost between 133 and 140 rupees.

The share sale is worth about ₹1,553 crore, which is a very large amount of money.

Before the sale, the company raised money from big investors, which is why it made its IPO a bit smaller than first planned.

The articles disagree on how much money was raised before the sale — one says ₹357 crore and the other says ₹482 crore.

Milky Mist earned much more money last year than in the year before.

It will use the money from the sale to pay off loans and build a bigger factory making new products like yogurt and cream cheese.

The company's shares should start trading on the stock exchanges around August 18.
