Five Men Arrested for Christmas Market Attack Plot
German police have arrested five men who they think were planning to attack a Christmas market in southern Germany.
The men are from Morocco, Egypt, and Syria.
The police believe the men wanted to drive a vehicle into the market to hurt or kill as many people as possible.
This is similar to previous attacks in Germany, like the one in Berlin in 2016 where a truck drove into a market and hurt many people.
Last year, there was another attack in a city called Magdeburg.
The men were arrested on Friday and are still in jail.
The police are working hard to keep everyone safe during the holidays.
