LIC Staff Observe Nationalisation Day

Employees of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) celebrated Life Insurance Nationalisation Day on Monday.

They gathered at the LIC Benz Circle office and other places to take a pledge and listen to a speech.

Dr. Kaladhar, a leader from the Insurance Corporation Employees’ Union, spoke about how LIC has grown and become very important.

He said LIC manages a lot of money, even more than some countries.

But he also warned that there are pressures that might change LIC and even lead to privatisation.

He asked employees to stay strong and support LIC.

Many leaders and workers joined the event.
