Bhiwandi Launches Landmark Cares Mobile Medical Unit Project
Imagine a doctor's office on wheels that comes right to your neighborhood!
That's what the new Landmark Cares Mobile Medical Unit project is all about in Bhiwandi.
Three special vans, like little hospitals on wheels, are now visiting 22 different spots.
Each van has a doctor, nurse, and helpers.
They offer check-ups, screenings for common illnesses, medicine, and advice.
The goal is to make it easy for everyone, especially those who find it hard to get to a clinic, to get good medical care.
It's a team effort between a company called Landmark Cares and the city's municipal corporation to keep everyone healthy and aware of how to stay well.
The Landmark Cares Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) project was launched in Bhiwandi Nizampur City Municipal Corporation (BNCMC) to offer free and quality primary healthcare.
Three mobile medical units will serve 22 locations across the BNCMC jurisdiction.
Each unit is staffed with an MBBS doctor, nurse, pharmacist, health educator, and pilot.
Services offered include non-communicable disease screening, consultations, treatment, diagnostics, and health education.
The initiative is a collaboration between Landmark Cares and the Municipal Corporation, with Piramal Health as the implementation partner.
