A business conference was held in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.

Union minister Ram Mohan Naidu said India’s economy is growing by 7.8%.

He said Andhra Pradesh is trying to attract businesses by making project approvals faster.

At the conference, the state signed 31 investment agreements worth ₹21,498 crore.

Those agreements could lead to 56,945 jobs.

Another 33 projects worth ₹3,518.73 crore were started or inaugurated.

Those projects could create 9,449 jobs.

The government also says it wants more airports and trained aviation workers.
