Milky Mist Bets on Value-Added Dairy for Pan-India Growth

Milky Mist makes dairy products such as yogurt and other value-added foods.

The company says more people want healthier and protein-rich foods.

Demand for its yogurt is growing faster than its current factories can supply.

It plans to spend Rs 400-500 crore to build more capacity over the next two to two-and-a-half years.

Milky Mist will continue focusing on dairy rather than entering unrelated businesses.

It is also considering protein-based drinks.

Most of its sales currently come from southern India, but it wants to reach more parts of the country.

The company hopes to grow its revenue from Rs 3,138 crore in FY26 to Rs 5,000 crore by FY28.
