Kasturchand Park Restoration Nears Completion
Imagine a really old and important park called Kasturchand Park, or KP, in Nagpur.
It was getting run down, but now, it's getting a makeover!
Workers are fixing the stone buildings, like the bandstand, using special materials and skilled artisans.
They're also adding a giant flagpole and a new amphitheater.
The goal is to make it a beautiful place for people to visit and enjoy.
They're even talking about adding a sports area!
They're putting up a barrier to stop people from damaging the park.
The city is working with the PWD to make sure the plants get enough water.
Basically, it's a plan to make KP a great place for everyone, while keeping its history alive.
Kasturchand Park in Nagpur is undergoing extensive restoration by the Public Works Department (PWD).
The project includes the revival of the park's stone bandstand and surrounding structures.
A 200-foot flagpole and amphitheater are being added as part of a beautification project.
The PWD is considering installing a barricade to protect the restored structures.
The park is planned to become a heritage and recreational hub with potential sporting arenas.
