Kashmiri Students Allege Threats, Seek Bhopal Accommodation Protection

Two students from Jammu and Kashmir are studying pharmacy in Bhopal.

They say people living nearby have harassed and threatened them.

The students also say they were told to leave their paying guest home.

They believe this happened because they are Muslim and from Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident was reported at Shanti Homes Colony.

A students’ group asked Madhya Pradesh’s chief minister to help.

The group wants police and local officials to investigate.

It also wants the students to stay safe and continue their education.

The students had expected hostel rooms through a scholarship scheme, but their college had no rooms available.
