CAQM Orders Wider Camera Coverage at NCR Industries
The air-quality commission wants factories in the National Capital Region to use more cameras.
The cameras must show where fuel is stored and where it is put into use.
Factories using gas must also show the gas meter or gauge.
Video must be sent live to pollution-control authorities.
Factories must make sure the cameras and internet connections have backup power.
The new cameras are due by October 31.
Authorities must tell the commission how the plan is going by November 1.
The commission says this is needed because inspections found some factories using fuels that were not approved.

Additional cameras must capture all fuel storage areas and fuel charging points; gas users must also show their gas gauge or meter.
Industries must provide real-time video feeds to CPCB and the relevant state pollution control boards or DPCC, with adequate power backup.
Industries must install the additional cameras by October 31, and relevant authorities must report implementation status by November 1.
The order follows reports of unapproved fuel use and builds on earlier requirements for PTZ cameras and real-time emissions monitoring.
