Democrat Introduces Impeachment Articles Against RFK Jr.
A congresswoman named Haley Stevens, who is a Democrat from Michigan, has started the process to impeach Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
She says he has misused his power and hurt public health.
She also introduced a law to stop the cuts he has made to funding.
However, because the Republicans control Congress, it is very unlikely that this will go anywhere.
Many Democrats are not happy with her actions, saying it is a distraction.
The spokesperson for the Health and Human Services department said she is just doing this to help her own political career.
Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) introduced articles of impeachment against HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Accusations include abuse of authority and undermining public health.
Stevens also filed the “Stop RFK’s BS Act” to reverse funding cuts overseen by Kennedy.
The impeachment bid is unlikely to proceed due to Republican control of Congress.
Many Democrats expressed frustration, calling the effort distracting and unproductive.
