Mohan Yadav Accuses Congress of Vande Mataram Appeasement

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav criticized the Congress party at a BJP meeting.

He said Congress uses Muslim voters to win elections but has not done enough for their development.

He also accused Congress of opposing parts of the song Vande Mataram.

This argument followed reports that Congress programmes would sing only the first two stanzas.

The BJP says this decision was made to appeal to minorities.

Yadav also said Congress was indirectly opposing a proposed Uniform Civil Code in Madhya Pradesh.

He asked BJP workers to tell people about the government’s work.

He listed increases in electricity capacity, medical seats, irrigation and recruitment plans.

The reports did not include a direct Congress response to his accusations.
