77 Isha Pilgrims Remain Missing After Nepal-Tibet Floods

A group of 77 people traveling with the Isha Foundation lost contact after a flash flood.

They were returning from a Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage near Gyirong, a town by the Nepal-Tibet border.

The group was reportedly at an immigration office when floodwaters struck.

People in the group come from 19 different countries.

Rescue teams are searching, but no one has received an update about them.

The foundation has asked embassies and government offices in India, China and Nepal for help.

Sadhguru wanted to go to Gyirong, but he did not receive permission.

The families of the 77 pilgrims are very worried and are waiting for news.

Reports say the wider disaster has killed at least 579 people and left nearly 1,000 missing.
