Canada Invites 1,000 Foreign Workers for Permanent Residency

Canada recently invited 1,000 foreign workers to apply for permanent residency.

This happened on November 26, 2025, and the lowest score needed to be invited was 531.

So far this year, 24,850 invitations have been sent.

To qualify, workers need at least one year of paid skilled work in Canada.

They must also be fluent in English or French.

This program helps skilled workers who have already lived and worked in Canada to stay permanently.

It's part of a system that ranks applicants and invites the top ones every two weeks.
