iOS 26's New iMessage Feature: Drafts Folder and Filters
Apple is updating the Messages app in iOS 26 with helpful new features.
The main addition is a Drafts folder, where you can find and finish messages you started but didn't send.
There are also new filters to sort through your messages, helping you manage spam and find what you're looking for.
These filters are found via a button at the top right, and the app will highlight the filter when it is active, so you know when you're not seeing all your messages.
iOS 26, expected to launch on the iPhone 17, includes new features for the Messages app.
The Messages app now has filtering options to manage messages.
A new Drafts filter allows users to view and complete partially written messages.
Users can easily find and edit unfinished messages within the Drafts folder.
The filter button at the top right corner of the screen provides access to different message categories.
