EOW Files Case Against PHE Engineer
In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has started a case against an engineer named MK Umaria.
The engineer works in the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department in Damoh.
Two people, Samyak Jain and Mannan Agarwal, complained that the engineer gave a fake experience certificate to a company called Aman Enterprise.
The certificate was supposed to be given to another company, Umapati Drillers, which had completed some work.
The EOW found that the engineer misused his position and gave the certificate to the wrong company.
Now, the engineer and the owner of Aman Enterprise are in trouble for this.
The police have filed the case under a law called the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
EOW registered a case against a PHE executive engineer in Damoh for issuing a fake experience certificate.
Complainants Samyak Jain and Mannan Agarwal alleged the engineer issued the certificate to Aman Enterprise instead of Umapati Drillers.
