EIL Completes India's Largest Underground LPG Storage
Engineers India Limited (EIL) built a huge underground storage space for cooking gas (LPG) for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in Mangalore.
This cavern can hold a massive amount of gas!
The cool part is that it is built under buildings that were already there, saving land.
EIL helped with everything, including planning and building.
The new cavern will help India have enough gas for everyone.
EIL executed the development of India’s largest underground LPG storage cavern.
The cavern is located in Mangalore, Karnataka.
It has a storage capacity of 80,000 MT of LPG.
The design is unique, built beneath existing surface facilities.
EIL served as the EPCM consultant for the project.
