Punjab Police Bust Two ISI-Backed Terror Modules Targeting Jantar Mantar
Police in Punjab, a state in India, said they found two secret groups that were planning bad things.
The police think the groups were helped by people from another country, Pakistan.
They arrested nine people, including four teenagers.
The police also took away guns, petrol bombs, bullets, hidden cameras, and a motorcycle.
One group, police say, went to Delhi to attack a big student protest at Jantar Mantar, carrying things to make petrol bombs.
The group came back because there were too many police officers and guards at the protest.
Another group, police say, put hidden cameras near railway tracks to watch trains and send videos to people in Pakistan.
The police are still checking phones and money transfers to learn more.
What the police say has not been proven in court yet, and no one from Pakistan has said anything about it.
Punjab Police (Amritsar Commissionerate) busted two alleged ISI-backed cross-border terror modules and arrested nine accused, including four juveniles.
Police allege one module planned an attack on Delhi's Jantar Mantar during CJP-led student protests, travelling there with petrol bomb materials but returning after finding heavy security.
A second module was linked to suspicious CCTV cameras found near railway tracks, with footage allegedly shared with foreign handlers.
Police recovered three illegal pistols, four petrol bottle bombs, nine live cartridges, hidden surveillance cameras and a motorcycle.
The probe began with the arrest of Vansh Kumar (19); the claims have not been independently verified and there was no immediate response from Pakistan.
