Odyssey Opens Showrooms Amid Questions Over Elevator Claims
Odyssey Elevators has opened new places in Chennai and Lucknow where customers can see its home elevators.
The company says the centres are part of its growth and customer-service plans.
Some customers want more details than a showroom demonstration can provide.
They want to know exactly how each elevator is lifted.
In particular, they are asking whether some models use traction or drum-winding technology.
They also want to know where the elevators are made and which company legally manufactures them.
Customers are seeking certificates and test documents that apply to the exact elevator they might buy.
The article says Odyssey could answer these questions by publishing clear technical and conformity information.
Odyssey Elevators inaugurated experience centres in Chennai and Lucknow as part of its expansion in India’s premium home-elevator market.
The company’s use of the term “electric” has prompted questions about whether particular models use traction-based or drum-winding mechanisms.
Publicly available information presents differing descriptions of the elevators’ engineering, components, manufacturing origin and possible links to Turkish solutions.
Customers are seeking clarity on the legal manufacturer, factory location, imported components, local assembly and responsibility for products sold in India.
The article calls for product-specific certification, conformity documents and technical details corresponding to each elevator model and configuration.
