Azam Khan Acquitted in Derogatory Remarks Case
A court in Rampur, India, has decided that Mohammad Azam Khan, a leader from the Samajwadi Party, is not guilty in a case where he was accused of saying bad things about government officials.
This case started in 2019 when Azam Khan gave a speech that some people found offensive.
The court said he is not guilty because the people who accused him did not have enough proof.
Azam Khan has been in many legal cases, and this is the seventh time he has been found not guilty.
His lawyer said the court decided this way because the other side did not show important electronic evidence.
Mohammad Azam Khan was acquitted in a case of making derogatory remarks against officials.
The case was filed by Aam Aadmi Party leader Faisal Khan Lala in 2019.
Azam Khan was accused of inciting people against the District Magistrate and other officials.
The court acquitted him because the prosecution failed to prove the charges and present electronic evidence.
This is the seventh acquittal for Azam Khan out of 14 cases against him.
