Army Chief Reviews LoC Readiness and Kashmir Cataract Drive
Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth visited soldiers near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
He checked how prepared the troops were and met veterans and former soldiers.
He also visited a special eye-care camp in Tangdhar.
The camp is helping people who need cataract surgery.

General Dhiraj Seth visited forward areas of Karnah in Kupwara district to review operational preparedness and outreach.
At Tangdhar’s Forward Surgical Centre, he reviewed Operation Drishti, a seven-day cataract camp identifying about 400 patients for surgery.
The camp is being conducted by the Indian Army’s 15 Corps with the Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical Services.
The initiative provides eye care to civilians and veterans as part of the Army’s wider Operation Sadbhavana outreach.
Northern Command officials separately assessed counter-terrorism preparedness, while Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh praised coordination with the Army.
