Doctor Lists 8 Common Symptoms of Perimenopause and Menopause
As women get older, they go through a phase called perimenopause and then menopause.
This happens because their hormones change.
Dr. Vishakha shared some common symptoms on Instagram.
These include gaining weight, feeling very tired, sweating a lot at night, having trouble remembering things, new allergies, problems with peeing, dryness in the vaginal area, and trouble sleeping.
Dr. Vishakha says there are treatments available, so women don't have to suffer through these symptoms.
It's important to talk to a doctor if these symptoms are bothering you a lot.
