Steve Smith to Play Limited Games in MLC 2025
Steve Smith, who led Washington Freedom to victory last year, can only play in two matches of the MLC 2025.
This is because the World Test Championship final and Australia's tour of the West Indies clash with the tournament.
His replacement will be Mark Chapman.
Other players like Travis Head and Marco Jansen will also miss some games.
Mitch Owen, Ben Sears, and Jason Behrendorff will join as overseas backups.
Freedom starts their campaign on June 14 against Seattle Orcas.
