Mumbai's Water Reserves Rise to 88.40% After Heavy Rainfall

Mumbai's water reserves have increased to 88.40% of their total capacity because of heavy rainfall.

The seven main lakes that supply water to the city now have 12,79,534 million litres of water.

Some of these lakes, like Modak Sagar, Vihar, and Tulsi, are completely full.

Other lakes, like Tansa and Middle Vaitarna, are also very close to being full.

The heavy rain has helped fill these lakes, and some have even started overflowing.

This is good news because it means Mumbai will have enough drinking water for a long time.
