Thane Woman Arrested for Alleged Poisoning of Three Daughters
A mother in Thane, India, is accused of poisoning her three young daughters.
She allegedly put pesticide in their food, causing the children to fall sick and taken to hospitals.
Sadly, all three girls died.
Initially, the police thought it was an accident.
However, they discovered poison was involved, leading them to arrest the mother.
The police believe she was struggling with issues like her husband's alleged alcohol abuse, and separation, and this may have led to the crime.
A 27-year-old woman in Thane, Maharashtra, was arrested for allegedly poisoning her three daughters.
The girls, aged 5, 8, and 10, consumed pesticide-laced food on July 20.
The children experienced health complications and were rushed to a local hospital.
Two girls died in Mumbai hospitals on July 24 and 25; one died in Nashik on July 24.
The police initially filed an accidental death report but changed it to murder after the autopsy.
