Align Technology Lowers Revenue Outlook Amid Economic Uncertainty
Align Technology, which makes Invisalign, is expecting to make less money than they thought.
They're blaming this on people not wanting to spend as much money on things like clear aligners and new scanner systems.
Because of this, they're changing some things at the company, like maybe some people will lose their jobs and they'll change how things are made.
The company's earnings were also lower than expected, and they predict less revenue in the coming months too.
Align Technology, maker of Invisalign, reduced its annual revenue growth forecast.
The company cited macroeconomic uncertainties and weak demand for dental products.
The revised forecast for 2025 is flat to slightly up from 2024, a decrease from the previous 3.5% to 5.5% range.
Align Technology will realign business groups and reduce its global workforce.
The company reported a revenue of $1.01 billion, below analysts' estimates of $1.06 billion.
