Bangladesh and India Continue Talks Over Delayed Cricket Series

Bangladesh and India Continue Talks Over Delayed Cricket Series

Bangladesh and India were supposed to play six cricket matches in Bangladesh.

The matches were planned as three one-day games and three shorter T20 games.

They will not happen in September as first planned.

India already has a T20 series against Afghanistan during that time.

The two cricket boards are still talking about finding new dates.

Bangladesh cricket chief Tamim Iqbal said both sides want the matches to happen.

Cricket relations became tense after Bangladesh withdrew from a World Cup, citing security concerns.

The disagreement also involved Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman being removed from the IPL.

Tamim said Bangladesh should have kept negotiating and played the tournament.
