Bengaluru Woman Traffic Cop Body-Shamed, Assaulted On Duty; 4 Booked

A woman police officer in Bengaluru whose job is to manage traffic was at work when some people began making fun of the way she looks, which is called body-shaming.

They did not stop at mean words — they also hurt her.

This happened while she was on duty.

Four people have been officially accused, or booked, for what happened.

One of the accused is named Hemanth Reddy.

He said he was a lawyer and argued with the officer.

He is also accused of holding and pulling her hand.

Another accused person, named Rahul, was called to the spot and also pushed the officer around.

The police are now handling the complaint about this incident.

It is never okay to insult or hurt someone who is doing their job, and the accused now have to face consequences.
