KMC Approves Funds for Water Projects in South Kolkata
Imagine the city wants to make sure everyone has clean water.
They're spending money to build new water plants and put in new pipes, like building a bigger water highway.
This will bring clean water to many people in South Kolkata and near the EM Bypass.
The city is also making existing water plants bigger to make even more water available.
They're also building small stations to help push the water to houses that are far away, making sure everyone gets enough water.
KMC approved funds for water pipe procurement in South Kolkata.
The project aims to provide safe drinking water to over a million residents.
Funds will cover two water treatment plants and booster pumping stations.
