Haryana ATS Uncovers Alleged International Narco-Terror Network, Arrests Seven

Haryana police are investigating a group they say may be connected to an international drug-and-weapons network.

The case began after a woman was hurt in shooting at a club in Panchkula.

Police say five young men argued at the club before two shots were fired.

Seven people have now been arrested in connection with the investigation.

Police recovered guns, bullets, phones, cash-counting machines and 529 grams of a drug called ‘chitta’.

Investigators say people outside India, especially in the United States, may have provided money, vehicles and places to stay.

They also allege that local workers moved drugs and weapons to assigned locations.

The Anti-Terrorist Squad is continuing to investigate how the network operated and who supported it.
