BJP urges Kerala CM to hold talks with PSC protesters

BJP urges Kerala CM to hold talks with PSC protesters

Some people in Kerala worked very hard and passed big exams to get government jobs.

Their names were placed on a special list called the rank list.

But they have not been given the jobs they qualified for.

So they gathered in Thiruvananthapuram and stopped eating food to show how serious they are.

They have been asking for their jobs for 38 days.

They have been on a hunger strike for 10 days.

A leader from the BJP, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, wrote a letter to the Chief Minister, VD Satheesan.

He asked the chief minister to meet the job seekers, listen to them, and help them get their jobs.

He also asked the police to stop taking action against the peaceful protesters.

He warned that if the government does nothing, many more people in Kerala may join the protest.
