Gujarat Team Praises Andhra Pradesh Natural Farming Transformation

A team from Gujarat visited Andhra Pradesh to learn about natural farming.

Natural farming tries to grow crops without relying on chemical farming methods.

The visitors saw farms with many different crops growing together.

They said these farms had healthier soil, more useful insects and better crop variety.

One small farm grew about 35 kinds of plants and earned up to Rs.

15,000 each month.

Another okra field looked healthier than a nearby chemical-farming field.

The team also learned how farmers manage weeds and pests using natural methods.

They visited a farmer who protects traditional rice seeds and indigenous rice varieties.
