BJP Appoints Nitin Nabin as Working President
The BJP has appointed Nitin Nabin, a 46-year-old MLA from Bihar, as its working president.
This decision came after a long disagreement between the RSS and the BJP high command about who should lead the party.
The RSS wanted someone who would keep them involved, while Amit Shah preferred his experienced deputies.
Neither side objected to Nabin because he is relatively unknown and young.
Meanwhile, billionaire Gautam Adani is helping the Pawar family in Maharashtra reunite.
He suggested that Ajit Pawar's MLAs support Sharad Pawar's re-election to the Rajya Sabha, and in return, Supriya Sule is willing to merge her faction with Ajit's, provided her father leads the united party.
The BJP values Sharad Pawar's role as a mediator in the INDIA bloc.
