Ceigall India Emerges Lowest Bidder for Rs 608 Crore Project
Ceigall India has been selected as the lowest bidder for a large electricity-transmission project.
The project is in Gujarat and is worth Rs 608.67 crore in annual transmission charges.
The company will help build systems that move electricity from several power-generation areas.
The work includes a large substation and about 300 kilometres of transmission lines.
Construction is expected to take 36 months.
The transmission agreement will operate for 35 years after the project is commissioned.
Ceigall said the project has no related-party transactions.
In the same period, the company reported a quarterly profit of Rs 61 crore and its share price rose 4% in one trading session.
Ceigall India emerged as the lowest financial bidder for a Rs 608.67 crore inter-state transmission project in Gujarat.
REC Power Development and Consultancy awarded the project under a tariff-based agreement and E-Reverse Auction.
The work includes a 765/400 kV air-insulated substation and about 300 km of transmission lines.
The project will evacuate power from transmission systems linked to Lakadia, Jam Khambhaliya and Jamnagar.
Ceigall reported Q1 FY27 consolidated net profit of Rs 61 crore, while its shares closed 4% higher at Rs 337.85.
