Dr Sunil urges timely knee replacement
Dr Sunil, a doctor who specializes in bones and joints, talked to the press about how important it is to get knee problems fixed on time.
He said that ignoring knee problems can lead to serious health issues.
He explained that there are now advanced and safe ways to do knee replacement surgery, like using robots, which involve smaller cuts, have fewer complications, and help people recover faster.
He also said that knee problems don't come back if good quality parts are used in the surgery.
Patients can usually go home after two or three days and can start walking soon after.
He warned that many people delay treatment because they don't know enough about it and advised people to consider knee replacement when they have trouble moving around or need help from others.
