Rajasthan Congress Notices Ex-Minister Vishvendra Singh After Exit Hint

Rajasthan Congress sent former minister Vishvendra Singh a warning notice.

The party says he did not attend important programmes and meetings.

It also says he did not help with local election campaigning.

Congress alleges that a supported candidate withdrew from a Bharatpur election after Singh gave instructions.

That helped a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate win without a contest, according to the party.

Singh had earlier suggested that he might leave Congress.

He said some party leaders’ remarks had upset him and his supporters.

Singh also said the party could act against him and that he could decide his own political future.

He has seven days to answer the notice.
