Riz Ahmed Lands Ganesh Role in Tom Cruise’s Digger

Riz Ahmed is acting in a new movie called Digger.

He plays Ganesh, a scientist who advises a character played by Tom Cruise.

Other Indian actors, including Fahadh Faasil and Vir Das, were considered for the same role.

Faasil did not take the part because the filmmaker had concerns about his accent.

Vir Das auditioned twice but was not chosen.

Riz said he hopes to work with both actors someday.

He also said he would like to work with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Huma Qureshi.

Riz believes movies can help people understand one another.

He says Digger tries to bring people together even though it is about an oil tycoon.
