Eight Dead in Two Road Accidents in MP
On the first day of the new year, two separate road accidents in Madhya Pradesh resulted in the deaths of eight people, including three children.
In the first accident, a motorcycle collided with a pick-up vehicle carrying tomatoes, killing four people, including a four-year-old girl.
The driver of the pick-up vehicle fled the scene.
In the second accident, a family of four, including two children, died when their motorcycle hit a parked truck on the highway.
The truck had broken down, and repair work was underway.
The victims have not been identified yet, but they are believed to be from the Panna district.
Police are investigating the incidents.
