68th National Shooting Championship Begins
The 68th National Shooting Championship started with a record number of shooters.
Over 16,000 people will compete in rifle, pistol, and shotgun events.
The competition is happening in two places: the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting range and the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy.
It will last for more than a month, ending in early January 2026.
There are different categories for different age groups and special categories for para-athletes and deaf athletes.
The events are also preparing shooters for the ISSF World Cup Finals in Doha.
The 68th National Shooting Championship began with over 16,000 shooters participating across rifle, pistol, and shotgun events.

The competition serves as a preparatory event for the ISSF World Cup Finals in Doha, where 15 Indian shooters have qualified.
