Italian Journalist Links Delhi Blast to Jaish-e-Mohammed's Terror Blueprint
An Italian journalist named Francesca Marino wrote a book about bad guys called Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) who mainly want to hurt India.
She believes a recent bomb that went off at the Red Fort in Delhi, which hurt many people, was planned by this group.
She says this group is trying to get stronger again, even by training women to be suicide bombers.
Marino also talked about an older event where India bombed a place in Pakistan called Balakot that JeM used for training.
She thinks Pakistan tried to hide what happened there, and that the Pakistani army helps these terror groups.
She wrote her book to help people understand these dangerous groups and why they are a threat.
Italian journalist Francesca Marino links the recent Red Fort bombing in Delhi to the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
Marino's book, 'From Pulwama to Payback,' details a sustained terror blueprint by JeM, including the establishment of a female suicide bomber wing.
The Red Fort blast on November 10 used TATP and reportedly aimed to coincide with the Babri Masjid demolition anniversary.
Marino contends that Pakistan attempted to cover up the impact of the 2019 Indian Air Force strike on Balakot, a key JeM training camp.
She identifies a radicalized Pakistani state and its army leadership as facilitators for groups like JeM, with India as a manufactured enemy.
