IIT Tirupati Hosts Quantum Computing Workshop
A special workshop on quantum computing started at IIT Tirupati.
It's a two-day event where students and teachers learn about quantum computers, how to design algorithms, and how to keep information secure using quantum technology.
The workshop is supported by important organizations like IIT Madras and the National Quantum Mission.
Around 80 people from different states are attending.
They will learn from experts through lectures and hands-on practice.
This workshop is part of India's effort to become better at quantum technology, which is a very advanced and growing field.
The goal is to help people understand how to use quantum computers in real life and prepare them for future jobs in this area.
IIT Tirupati's Quantum Knowledge Cluster (QKCT) launched a two-day national workshop on Quantum Computing, Quantum Algorithms, and Quantum Information.
The workshop is supported by the SAMGYNA Quantum Communication Hub at IIT Madras under the National Quantum Mission (NQM) and C-DAC.
Over 80 participants from Andhra Pradesh and neighboring states are attending the event, which includes expert lectures and hands-on training.
Topics covered include quantum computing basics, algorithm design, secure communication, error-correction strategies, and thermodynamic principles.
The workshop aligns with national priorities under the NQM and the Andhra Pradesh government’s vision for the proposed Amaravati Quantum Valley.
