Tamil Nadu Assembly Telecast Draws Record Viewers, Vijay Top Attraction
In the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, the place where leaders make laws is called the Legislative Assembly.
People can now watch what happens there live on TV, just like a show.
Many families are watching it together instead of their usual soap operas and movies.
The biggest reason people watch is the Chief Minister, whose name is C. Joseph Vijay.

During the debates, leaders argue and answer questions, and viewers find it exciting.

People make short clips of the best moments and share them on social media.
The government says broadcasting the debates helps citizens watch their leaders directly.
