Esha Singh Secures Bronze in Women's 25m Pistol at World Championships

Esha Singh, an Indian shooter, has won a bronze medal in the women's 25m pistol competition at the World Championships in Cairo.

This is her first individual medal at this event.

She shot a score of 30 in the final.

She competed against shooters from China and Korea, with the gold medalist from Korea scoring 40 and the silver medalist from China scoring 38.

Esha qualified for the final by scoring 587 points, placing fifth, while her teammate Manu Bhaker qualified in sixth place.

In the final, Esha was in third place and Manu was in fourth.

Both Esha and Manu, along with another competitor, tied at one point.

Manu was eliminated next, and Esha secured the bronze medal by outshooting the French competitor.

This medal adds to India's impressive performance at the championships, where they have won multiple medals.

Esha has won other ISSF medals earlier this year and will compete again in December.
