Police in Mumbai arrested two bank workers over an alleged money fraud.

The case involved the account of a customer who had died.

Police say the customer’s phone number and email address were changed using a forged form.

This may have allowed someone to access the account.

Two fixed deposits worth about ₹14.87 lakh were allegedly closed early.

The money was then sent to several accounts using different banking services.

The total alleged fraud is ₹29.83 lakh.
