BITS Students Create Kamikaze Drones for Indian Army
Two BITS Pilani students built special drones called kamikaze drones for the Indian Army.
These drones can fly super fast and carry things.
They were made with basic parts in a dorm room.
The students, Jayant and Sourya, started a company and showed the army what their drones could do.
The army liked them and started using them.
The students showed their drones in action instead of just talking about them.
Now their company is growing and they are making even more advanced drones.
BITS Pilani students Jayant Khatri and Sourya Choudhury developed kamikaze drones.
The drones are used by the Indian Army in key border areas.
Drones fly over 300 km/hour, carry a 1 kg payload, and handle tough terrains.
The duo co-founded Apollyon Dynamics with no prior defense experience.
Their success involved cold outreach, demonstrations, and word-of-mouth referrals.
