Supreme Court to Pass Order on Stray Dogs Case; Chief Secretaries Appear
The Supreme Court is discussing a problem with stray dogs that has been happening for a while.
The court had asked leaders from all over the country to explain how they are dealing with stray dogs and following the rules.
Most of them didn't send their plans, so the court was very unhappy.
On November 3, almost all the leaders had to come to court in person to explain why they didn't send their plans.
Today, November 7, the court will make a decision or pass an order about what needs to be done.
The court also said that if leaders don't follow the rules in the future, they might have to come to court again.
They also decided to include the Animal Welfare Board of India in the case.
The Supreme Court will pass an order on the stray dogs case on November 7.
Chief Secretaries from all states and Union Territories, except West Bengal and Telangana, appeared in person.
The court noted that most states have now filed their compliance affidavits regarding stray dog management.
