Kenya Dominates NYC Marathon; Kipruto and Obiri Secure Titles

Two runners from Kenya, Benson Kipruto and Hellen Obiri, won the big New York City Marathon this year!

Benson had a super close race and won by just a tiny bit.

Hellen ran so fast she set a new record for the women's race, beating a record that stood for many years.

Another Kenyan runner, Sharon Lokedi, came in second.

In the wheelchair races, Marcel Hug from Switzerland won his seventh title, and Susannah Scaroni from the USA won the women's wheelchair race.

The weather was really nice for running, and lots of people, over 50,000, ran in the marathon.

Even a famous runner named Eliud Kipchoge ran, but he didn't win this time.
