Wall Street Reacts to Weaker-Than-Expected Payrolls
The stock market showed mixed results because of a report that fewer people were hired than expected.
The Dow Jones went down a bit, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq went up slightly.
The report said that only 54,000 jobs were added in August, which is less than economists thought.
There were also more job cuts announced.
The Federal Reserve might cut interest rates because of worries about the job market, while inflation remains a concern.

Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 66.4 points.
S&P 500 gained 8.3 points.
Nasdaq Composite gained 42.2 points.
