Family Alleges Son Missing as Premanand Maharaj Ashram Faces Scrutiny

An 18-year-old named Anuj Chaudhary went to Vrindavan to seek spiritual initiation.

His family says he did not come home for about three months.

They say they visited the ashram several times but could not meet him or learn clearly where he was.

Anuj’s father says he is desperate to see his only child.

The family claims the ashram later confirmed that Anuj was there.

They say the ashram promised to hand him over after collecting necessary information.

The case received more attention after the death of another disciple, Rasik Dulari Sharan.

That disciple’s relatives had also said they struggled to meet him.

The allegations have not been independently confirmed, and the ashram has not yet given its response.
